2016 – present: Clinical pharmacologist, Institute for Maternal and Child Health, IRCCS Burlo Garofolo, Trieste

2002 – present: Associated Professor of Pharmacology, University of Trieste;

2002 – present: Head of the Laboratory of Pharmacogenetics and Therapy personalization of the University of Trieste, with the role of coordinating a research group which includes, in addition to the undersigned, two permanent university researchers, nine PhD students, one postdoctoral fellow, three scholarship holders;

1983 – 2002: permanent Researcher in Pharmacology, University of Trieste;

1980 - 1983: post-doc fellowship at IRCCS Burlo Garofolo and University of Trieste.

12/04/2017 achievement of the national scientific qualification to the function of full professor (sector 05 / G1 PHARMACOLOGY, CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY AND PHARMACOGNOSY).

Main research interests:

Therapy personalization in pediatric patients with inflammatory bowel disease, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and nephrotic syndrome.

The scientific effort is witnessed by more than 160 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals and book chapters, and presentation at numerous international meetings. She serves as referee for several peer reviewed journals, and for national and international grant proposals.
